I received my PhD in 2009 from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA; M.E from Jinan University, Guangzhou, China; and B.E from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China. I joined the Department of Computer Science at Rochester Institute of Technology as a faculty member in 2009.
My research interests Lie in the areas of data management, data mining, service oriented computing, cloud computing, business process management, social computing, and semantic Web. My current research focuses on designing and developing solution to big data issues of web services and business processes, such as service discovery, composition, recommendation, quality of services, and workflow mining. My work has been supported by National Science Foundation and Xerox Research Grant.
I am looking for highly self-motivated master and PhD students to work on my research projects. Applicants are preferred to have a strong programming and math background. Excellent applicants may receive tuition waiver and/or stipends.
