Course Aims

 

 

  • Introduce the students to the basic principles and methodologies in computer security measurement, evaluation and testing
  • Give the students a nice opportunity to apply their knowledge  gained in the course in project development 
  • Further develop programming, analytical and research skills
  • Further develop organizing and delegating in a team and critical thinking

In general, students should have some familiarity with the concepts of data networking, specifically with the principles of the ISO/OSI 7-layered reference model as well as TCP/IP, Ethernet and operating systems such as Windows NT/2000/XP and Unix.
