the series is in the form below2017-02-26

    152, {(152/1)+2} =154 , {(154/2)+3} =80 , {(80/3)+3.5} =30 , {(30/4)+3.5} =11 , {(11/5)+3.5} =5.82017-02-26

It is a sequence as I have already mentioned to someone else with the exact same question. You seem to have commented on its 'solution' so I'm not sure why the question is being posed at all. The justification given for the continuing the sequence is a little strange too.2017-02-26

I absolutely hate "find the next term of the series" problems because there is never enough information to uniquely determine a pattern as there are uncountably infinitely many sequences which start with those same five entries. All of the given answers are possible correct answers, making the most correct answer **E) Not enough information**.2017-02-26

The pattern is

$$152$$

$$\frac{152+\color{red}{2}}{\color{green}{1}}=154$$

$$\frac{154+\color{red}{6}}{\color{green}{2}}=80$$

$$\frac{80+\color{red}{10}}{\color{green}{3}}=30$$

$$\frac{30+\color{red}{14}}{\color{green}{4}}=11$$

$$\frac{11+\color{red}{18}}{\color{green}{5}}=5.8$$
