Let $A$ be an orthogonal matrix and $I$ the identity matrix. Is it true that $A^2 =I$ if only if $A$ is symmetric ?

If $\mathbf A^\top\mathbf A=\mathbf I=\mathbf A\cdot \mathbf A$, well...
