Members of the Document and Pattern Recognition Lab win Best Poster Award

Recent GCCIS PhD graduate Lei Hu, and his advisor, Dr. Richard Zanibbi, from the CS Document and Pattern Recognition Lab, received the Best Poster Award at the 15th International Conference on Frontiers in Handwriting Recognition which was held in Shenzhen, China on October 23-26, 2016.

Their poster, MST-Based Parsing of Online Handwritten Mathematical Expressions, presents results from Dr. Hu's doctoral disseration which he defended last April.
