My files are contained in all of these directories.  How do I keep track of them and navigate through the directories?

Emacs Tips

This emacs editor is overwhelming.  How do I do the simple things like starting and saving files?

I have seen reference to files, windows, buffers and frames.   What do all of these terms represent?

Windows and frames seem to be out of my control. Is this true?
