ABSTRACT

Networks 3 is a projects course that very few faculty know about. In it, groups of students design and implement networking projects of their own choosing atop a data link layer developed by the class. The practical experience of implementing networking protocols reinforces the theory taught in the earlier courses, and goes far beyond typical undergraduate networks courses. In this presentation, the students currently taking the course will describe their projects and experiences. Come and see what our students are capable of doing.
