The Java Reliable Multicast Service (JRMS) is a set of libraries and services for building multicast-aware applications. It provides support for building applications that distribute data from senders to receivers over channels with distributed control over content mix. JRMS is at the moment under development and it will be one of the major additions to the next Java release.
