Tutorial Information

In order to work with gamebots, you need to do the following items:

1. Compile the UT server. This is only necessary if you have downloaded the uncompiled version of the server.
2. Start the server
3. Start the Java visualizer to make sure you can connect to the server and can see what happens. If you don't care about the visualizer you can connect to your own server using your own version of UT on the same computer you started the server on.
4. Look at the CrawlerBot written in Java.
5. Construct your own bot and have competititions!
