Biography
Ben Steele is a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department
at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
He has a M.S. in Computer Science from Rochester Institute
of Technology and a B.A. in Classical Civilization from
Wesleyan University.
Starting at Eastman Kodak, he developed
microscopic image capture, measurement and analysis systems
for manufacturing. As a consultant, he worked on
diagnostics and embedded system products for
Xerox, Verizon, Plug Power and Optical Gaging Products.
He joined the department in 2005 after a 20 year career.
His current interests are in software architecture,
program design, programming languages and computing education.
