Bridge Exam Schedule
If you were assigned bridge courses in your program of study, the ONLY way to determine that you do not need them is to take, and pass, the corresponding bridge exams. There will be no evaluation or certificates or transcripts at
orientation; all of these documents were supposed to be submitted with your application. If you still feel that these bridge courses were assigned to you in error, you must take and pass the bridge exams.
If you agree with the Graduate Coordinator's assessment and feel that you should take the bridge courses you were assigned in order to be successful in the MS program, then there is no need for you to take the bridge exams.
The only opportunity you will have to take these exams is on Monday, August 27th, 2012. Please bring either your passport or state driver's license to gain entrance into the bridge testing room. You must arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in. If you are late, you will not be admitted into the test.
The exams will be offered as follows:
12noon: Calculus 1-3, Operating Systems, Probability, and
CS Theory
1:00pm:
Advanced Programming
2:00pm:
Advanced C++ & Program Design
3:00pm: Discrete Math
A committee will grade the exams and their decision will be final. Please DO NOT call the office or stop in for the results, as we will need time to process everything. We will give you the results Wednesday, August 29th when we plan your schedule with you.
