CS Common Course Policies Include:
Rescheduling an Exam
RIT policy allows a student to reschedule a final exam under certain specific conditions.
In the event that you wish to reschedule a final exam, we strongly recommend that you first discuss the situation with all instructors involved.
Course Withdrawal
RIT policy allows a student to withdraw from a course until a specific date.
Incomplete grades are given only in exceptional circumstances, and
only when arrangements have been made with the lecture instructor
before the end of the semester.
Disability Services
If you have special needs for seating, tests, note-taking services or
other matters related to a disability,
please contact the Disability Services Office
(www.rit.edu/dso).
If you receive approval for accommodation,
let your instructor know as soon as possible so that
he or she can make the necessary arrangements.
Academic Integrity
All students in any CS course are expected to act in accordance with the
Department of Computer Science Policy on Academic Integrity. In addition,
all students at RIT are expected to abide by the
RIT Honor Code and adhere to the RIT
Academic Honesty Policy. Failure to do so will result in substantial
penalties.
