Setting up Outlook


When setting up a new connection follow these steps:
    1. Configure your connections using the wizard to set up a plaintext connection.
    2. Follow the following steps to convert this plaintext session to an encrypted session.

When changing an existing configuration, follow these steps:
    1. 'Tools' menu.
    2. 'Accounts' menu item.
    3. Select each CS mail/news account individually, and click the 'Properties' button.
    4. Select the 'Advanced' tab, and ensure the 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' checkbox is selected.
    5. Ensure the Server Name is 'mailhost.cs.rit.edu' not 'pony-express.cs.rit.edu'. This is a critical step.
